Conservation Work
To encourage environmental awareness, wildlife protection and tree sustainabilty, we help clients to understand conservation techniques and adhere to regulations, whilst helping to plan and deliver conservation activities.

The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 is a key piece of wildlife legislation which, amongst others, gives special protection to wild birds, nests and bats. The Bat Conservation Trust also runs specific courses on Bat Awareness, in which we are one of only a few firms in Scotland to be qualified.
For tree contractors these legal requirements and the conservation aspects are particularly important in undertaking tree care work. We follow best practices and undertake Risk Assessments to ensure conservation needs are met prior to carrying out work. In addition our experience and understanding of this area helps us to advise clients on conservation planning and recommended activities.
