An amenity Sitka Spruce woodland thinned by 60% and crown-lifted for access.  The client wanted as much woodchip spread on the ground as possible, and as the timber is of little value and poor firewood, we bought in our big chipper and chipped whole trees.  That is over 50 tonnes of woodchip!  This sort of work needs a Felling Licence.
